Directions Salisbury to Rockbourne

Follow directions for the A354 out of Salisbury, towards Blandford.
Keep going straight on this road for approx 4 miles, passing through Coombe Bissett. Once you come out of Coombe Bissett, there is a long hill. As you come to the top (after 1.5 miles from Coombe Bissett), the road bends to the right and there is a turning off to the left, signposted Rockbourne Roman Villa. Take this turning.

Follow road for approx 2 miles looking out for a sharp bend to the left (signposted Toyd Farm on the corner). Continue on main road - Tenantry Farm is approx quarter of mile after the bend on the left hand side (2.6 miles from turn off the A354). Look for yellow sign with UKC Rockbourne Ride on it and balloons. The venue is up the farm track on the left.


Bristol to Salisbury

Follow A36 until Wilton. In Wilton turn right at the traffic lights after the garden centre, following signs to Salisbury race course. Keep following signs to Salisbury race course and Stratford Tony - watch out for nasty turn off to the right on a left hand bend. Go past race course, and follow road until T junction. Turn left, following signs to Coombe Bissett.

At junction with A354 turn right onto A354, through Coombe Bissett. Once you come out of Coombe Bissett, there is a long hill. As you come to the top (1.5 miles from Coombe Bissett), the road bends to the right and there is a turning off to the left, signposted Rockbourne Roman Villa. Take this turning.

London to Salisbury

Option 1. M3 to Junction 14, M27 (towards Bouremouth) until Junction 1. Take B3078 across New Forest towards Fordingbridge (40 mile speed limit, but lots of ponies and lovely countryside). Follow B3078 through Fordingbridge (turn left at the roundabout) after going over the bridge, to Sandleheath. At the cross roads in Sandleheath turn right towards Rockbourne and the Roman Villa (from Rockbourne - see below).

Come through the village of Rockbourne. The Rose and Thistle pub is on the left as you leave the village. Continue on this road (towards Salisbury) - Tenantry Farm is a mile from the pub on the right hand side. Look for yellow sign with UKC Rockbourne Ride on it and balloons.
